Where forces dreamt and slumber'd, and the life was good.
What dreams is oft forgetful, but evil didn't wait
And hidden in the darkness, rat's teeth from tree roots ate.
No hope left for Simyala, the city dying lay,
The basilisk's effusion, had brought on the decay.

Though now in magic mirror, the beast's blind brood is chained,
The Nameless One's still lurking, the Golden glow remained.
A few are still vigilant, against the plague they stand,
Their eyes are ever watchful, their whetted claws defend.
But should they ever falter, and should the last spell fade,
Only the song of songs then, can strangers call to aid.
